In 1986 the band Intensive Care was formed by Guitarist, Travis Hinze. They played a variety of music from 50’s/60’s to modern rock music of the day and were known for their great musicianship and memorable vocals. At one point they were playing 3 nights a week to try and keep up with demand and still had to turn away offers.
For several years they entertained with an infectious beat and danceable music at shows, proms, dances, weddings, fairs and other venues. In 1987 they opened for Star Search winners Limited Warranty and performed live at the Minnesota State Fair. Eventually though the various members of the band joined the military, went off to college or moved out of state and Intensive Care closed the ICU.
In 2008, after nearly 20 years of performing in other musical groups across the USA and with the integral band members now living back in Western Wisconsin, they decided to get back together again to bring their unique brand of musical style to local and regional audiences. Playing all the memorable hits of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s they are again entertaining audiences of all ages.
The ICU is Open Again!
